Olá!
Sou Maína Fantini, artista visual, e tenho uma formação multidisciplinar.
Sou natural de São Bernardo do Campo/SP, e resido há mais de 20 anos em SP/SP. Minha trajetória nas artes visuais iniciou-se em 2006, quando comecei a me dedicar ao trabalho artesanal, inicialmente com a criação de objetos em cerâmica plástica, e posteriormente em tecido, com costura criativa de acessórios. O repertório foi se ampliando quando de 2008 a 2013 cursei o Técnico em Fotografia e depois o Bacharelado em Fotografia no SENAC, e nesta área atuei comercialmente por mais de 10 anos (2008 a 2019), realizando paralelamente trabalhos autorais. Neste período, atuei também em projetos de conservação de documentos fotográficos e audiovisuais em acervos culturais (de 2011 a 2017).
Ao mesmo tempo, sempre me interessei por outras linguagens, materiais e suas intersecções, então segui estudando, experimentando, buscando novos caminhos. Em 2015 e 2016, trabalhei com montagem fina de obras de arte para artistas, galerias e instituições culturais em empresa renomada, e posteriormente me mantive atuando nesta área como freelancer pontual. Assim, pude ter contato com grande variedade de obras e artistas, além de diversos tipos de suportes e soluções de montagem, o que certamente me ampliou a bagagem.
Em 2020 comecei a me dedicar intensamente a um desejo bastante antigo: ao desenho, à pintura e ao bordado. E em 2023 fiz disciplinas de Design Editorial no SENAC, época em que criei meu primeiro livro ilustrado infantil, o Provação.
Venho então criando com técnicas variadas e muitas vezes mistas, misturando um pouco de todos esses aprendizados, brincando com as possibilidades e a liberdade que a arte me dá, do figurativo ao abstrato, do "sóbrio" ao infantil, da tela ao livro. Quanto à temática, minhas principais inspirações são paisagens e natureza; o cotidiano e a vida na cidade; e reflexões sobre saúde mental.

I'm Maína Fantini, a visual artist with a multidisciplinary background.
I was born in São Bernardo do Campo, in the state of São Paulo, and I have lived in the city of São Paulo for over 20 years. My journey in the visual arts began in 2006, when I started dedicating myself to craft work, initially creating objects in polymer clay, and later moving into fabric, with creative sewing of accessories. My repertoire expanded further when, from 2008 to 2013, I completed a Technical Diploma in Photography and then a Bachelor's degree in Photography at SENAC. I worked commercially in this field for over 10 years (2008 to 2019), while also carrying out authorial work in parallel. During this period, I also worked on the conservation of photographic and audiovisual documents in cultural collections (from 2011 to 2017).
At the same time, I always had an interest in other languages, materials, and their intersections, so I kept studying, experimenting, and seeking new paths. In 2015 and 2016, I worked in fine art mounting and framing for artists, galleries, and cultural institutions at a well-known company, and later continued working occasionally in this field as a freelancer. This gave me the opportunity to come into contact with a wide variety of artworks and artists, as well as different types of supports and mounting solutions, which certainly broadened my experience.
In 2020, I began dedicating myself intensively to a long-held desire: drawing, painting, and embroidery. And in 2023, I took Editorial Design courses at SENAC, during which time I created my first illustrated children's book, Provação.
Since then, I've been creating with varied and often mixed techniques, blending a bit of everything I've learned, playing with the possibilities and freedom that art gives me — from figurative to abstract, from "sober" to childlike, from canvas to book. As for themes, my main inspirations are landscapes and nature; everyday life and life in the city; and reflections on mental health.
